My cousin upgraded to the iPhone 4 and gave me his first generation iPhone to use as an iTouch. Of course I got too excited and plugged it into my computer and it downloaded the latest software. Now it's asking for a sim card, which my cousin removed, and I can't uninstall the software.

Do I purchase a random at&t sim card on ebay to get it working as an iTouch, or is there an alternative?
