Thread: White Screen of Death

Here is my Story

I got a 3G Iphone in May of this year and 2weeks ago I got my phone out of the case to send a email and the screen was brite White, I fliped because I use it so much anyway ran to my pc and goggled the problem and found out that 26 mil. other people had the same problem as me but the hard reset and the complete reset up threw itunes was not going to fix my issue so I called apple since I bought the extra protection plan I should be ok? Wrong as soon as they got my phone they sent me a email and said they could not repair or replace my phone due to water damage!!
I am 32 years old and am in a wheelchair so I didnt jump in a pool or play in the rain I spend all my time in my house or at the Dr's office. So I call my local AT&T Store and they told me everyone that they know has sent a phone to apple for repair Were told it had water damage!!!! After I called apple they said they would fix it for $200.00.

I would like to fix it my self I think it is the Lcd anyone have any idea??
