Thread: Importing contacts into iPhone/iPod

Can it be done?

I've exported my contacts from my Nokia to csv and word and I would now like to import them into my iPod Touch and iPhone (when I get it).

I've over 200+ contacts so I don't want to lose them or have to input them individually into either device.

Put your sim card into the iphone and then go to settings, mail and then scrol to the bottom and you will see it say import sim contacts. Press it

Thanks for that I'll give it a go ASAP but I'll also imported them into my Google account and then sync'd that with my iPod touch and that seemed to have worked but I'll see if it works for the iPhone.

What I have found is that I need to clean up all my contacts!

Sim card trick didn't work, O2 phones don't like Vodafone sims......

Put your contacts in csv into your email client yahoo, gmail etc. The iphone will sync with your email and download the contacts. Yahoo is free so if you dont already have one use it just to import the contacts and delete it.
