Thread: Iphone powers up...fades out..issue

hey, first post here. I'm not sure whats going on with my I phone but it will boot up for a few seconds, then just power itself down. Its unresponsive without being plugged into a computer or power outlet.

looks like u have an ibrick there? more information about the phone would be helpful. unlocked, version, etc..

hey, part of the problem is that I purchased it "as is" off of ebay so im not sure of the details. Im not sure if its a battery issue because when its plugged in with or without the battery it does the same thing. when its not plugged in, it doesnt do anything....

what phone service are you on? has it ever worked since you bought it?

I purchased it as is and this is how it came. Not working. I knew it wasnt going to, so im not disapointed, but Im still just drawing blanks on what it could be thats causing the "lack of cooperation". I have no idea what the previous owner used it with. I'll shoot em an email to see if i can get a bit of info. Thanks
