and im having a problem with my iphone

the icon installer in my iphone disappeared
and i could'nt find it anymore

someone told me that i can restore my factory setting through itunes
but im afraid that it may cause some problem
because my iphone's firmware is 1.1.2
and it's says it will upgrade to 1.1.4
