Hi, there is an alternative for iPod: yamipod.com :: INDEX ::, maybe its developers will release a version with iPhone support soon.

Really iTunes is the best jukebox software out there for me.

It easily allows me to edit tags and keep my music really organised in a simple layout. My only gripe is that for some reason it just takes an ETERNITY to burn songs or import them. I have to go back to Windows Media Player for that.

I was not aware there was any other alternative to iTunes.

How does Yamipod compare to iTunes? Where does it excel and where is it not so strong?

Main advantage of Yamipod is that it can copy songs to and from iPod. Used it to transfer songs from one iPod to another.
