Is anyone aware of an Air Tube headset, (said to reduce radiation to the brain), useable with an IPhone or adapter for such?
Is anyone aware of an Air Tube headset, (said to reduce radiation to the brain), useable with an IPhone or adapter for such?
Good to know, plz somebody respond to it.
I have the same need for an Air Tube. I ordered several Air Tubes for my family from Blue Tube Headset - Help Keep Harmful Cell Phone Radiation Away. This site explains why the plume of radiation is to be avoided and how Blue Tooth devices are not the answer either. They offer a headset for Motorola V3, Sony Ericson K759 and T28. Nothing yet for the iPhone.
I try to always use my iPhone on Speaker now that I have read a few articles and heard of a friend of a friend having a brain tumor removed at MD Anderson from excessive cell phone use. You definitely need to be aware of human effects from cell phone technology.
I just went to Radio Shack and bought an adaptor (1/32 inch to 1/8 inch). if you tell the guys there this is what you need or even take your blue tube and iphone along and show them they'll show you what you need. One little issue is when I got it home it didn't quite fit all the way in the hole so I had to cut back a bit of the plastic (really easy, believe me) and now it works fine. It's definately worth taking the time to do this. I love my iphone but i'm pretty concerned about the emf levels these things put out. Good luck and good health to all.
...this site has an airtube headset that works with an iphone and you do not need an adaptor. the site is Airtube headset protection. Help keep harmful cell phone radiaton away from your ear.
there r ones for razors and nokias that have usb ports too.
hope that helps.
bye
I had been looking for a reduced emf headset for the iphone. I love the phone but I can just feel the radiation coming out of it after talking for a while.
This headset is a little pricey, but it works great and I think the air tubes make music sound better--there's much more of a bass response it seems to me.
Here's the link. I haven't found the product anywhere else:
aircom headset - iphone plug
enjoy!
one is a bit pricier than the other one but go to this page and look around air tube head set for Iphone I have used them both and the sound quality is pretty good but they are fragile. This site has a 30 day money back guarantee which is nice.
Hope that helps someone.
thanks,
paul
how much does an air tube head set cost?
....you know i have tried a few of these weird things with tubes. i went cheap at first and bought the $2.00 one from amazon.not a happy camper. you get what you pay for. sound quality was horrible. then, i tried an airtube headset from mercola and that thing fell apart and i broke the retractable , yo yo wire, not very comfortable either. it was like having a constant wet willy in my ear. I stumbled upon a few other blue tubes and i finally ran into this one dork guy on youtube and this led me to the site with the real deal, check it out the best air tube headset winner. i even used it to call my mom on momma's day and heard her voice nice and clear, surprisingly enough.
have a great day, iphonetechman
There is a stereo version of the Air Tube for iPhones, and other phones, at AirTube
