Why does Apple want to charge me to make a ringtone out of music I already purchased once? Steve Jobs you're a bastard for this one

I work in television and people in this industry live on Apple products. Why would Apple not allow someone to make apps or widgets to be used in the tech side? It's not like tech people don't like this phone. Frankly, the interface is way cool and it looks cool but my Palm Treo does way more.

That's where Apple always gets us. They make something so absolutely beautiful and sleek that we just lose our head's opinion, and go with the hearts.

What is looking hopeful though is that Apple is actively producing updates for the iPhone, for example iTunes store. Sure, it may just be an app to sell sell sell, but it does re assure us that they have a team of developers getting stuff out to us.

Stay faithful my friend, Apple, or a team of good hackers, will get us up to Treo standards.
