Own a iPhone for only $3 a day!

    $635.95 - iPhone after Taxes
    $1439.76 - Cingular 900 Minute Plan
    $119.76 - Messaging Starter Service
$36.00 - One Time Activation Fee
    -------------
    $2231.47

    $85.59/month
    $21.40/week
    $3.06/day

See, it isn't THAT expensive... sure it's more expensive than 'other phones', but this isn't one of those 'other phones'. Look at it this way, it's cheaper than buying McDonald's once a day.

Yeah, I was bored. The only thing is I didn't include any of Cingular's BS data transfer plans, their web plans, etc.. I have no idea what will be needed to take full advantage of iPhone's capabilities. I basically put together the cheapest plan I could, but still have good benefits such as a decent amount of minutes, free nights/weekends, and text.

Probably won't be able to, it's a Cingular exclusive phone.

Probably will, the hackers will go crazy with this.

But that is shaping up to be a very heafty phone to purchse according to those calculations, but the per day calculation makes it all better.

Really, really slim chance that anyone will ever figure out how to unlock this phone. Even if you do unlock it, there are probably so many rights governing outside services providing any type of service to an iPhone that it would be pointless to do.

But it is a share that has been slowly gaining since 1998 when the main guy Steve returned.
like i said, hackers are brilliant people. note, i said Hackers, not Crackers
